OpenCode console infrastructure breach exposes OpenAI Anthropic and Google API keys across enterprise tenants

Developer platform incident disclosures published today confirm an infrastructure breach affecting cloud-hosted development management tools. Threat actors gained unauthorized access to internal database storage, exfiltrating active third-party API integration keys used for artificial intelligence service access.

The security breach impacted OpenCode console management infrastructure. Unauthenticated threat actors accessed unencrypted database backups, extracting active API access keys assigned to enterprise customer accounts for OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini model integrations. The stolen secrets allow adversaries to issue unauthorized API calls, exhaust corporate compute quotas, and query internal prompt histories processed through developer console workflows. OpenCode engineering teams revoked compromised access tokens and initiated database encryption updates.

Exposing artificial intelligence API keys across third-party developer platforms introduces severe non-human identity and data exfiltration exposure. When third-party platform databases are compromised, exposed integration keys permit threat actors to bypass tenant authentication, access confidential prompt context, and execute high-velocity resource billing calls.

– Revoke and regenerate all OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google API keys configured within OpenCode management consoles immediately.

– Enforce strict IP whitelisting and rate-limiting rules across artificial intelligence provider account management portals.

– Inspect provider usage metrics for unexpected usage spikes or anomalous API call originations following recent windows.

– Store integration credentials exclusively within dedicated enterprise secrets vaults utilizing automatic secret rotation policies.

Non-human identity governance demands continuous secret rotation and zero-trust API credential management to ensure cloud platform breaches do not lead to downstream artificial intelligence infrastructure exposure. #CodeDefence #OpenAI #Anthropic #Google #IdentitySecurity #APISecurity #CloudSecurity #DevSecOps #AppSec
